Read with a Mind for Math – In addition to reading, math is foundational to the study of science. Getting familiar with basic math terms like median, mode, and mean, will help you better analyze scientific data presented in reports, graphs, and charts.
Experience Experiments – Building your understanding of how scientific theories are developed will greatly improve your ability to think through science-based exam questions. Be sure to understand terms like hypothesis, variable, and control, as well as general terms used to evaluate experiment-based data and conclusions.
